Welcome, though sorry for the reasons you had
to come here.
Your general description does have the ring of
cluster headaches to it. I would suggest you
try the link to left side of this board that
will help you determine if you do suffer CH.
Then also see a neurologist (if you saw my post above...that's frustration) but, they CAN at
least diagnose. You want to make sure to have an
MRI to rule out other possibilities such as brain
tumors.
I imagine you'll get plenty of responses here.
Remember to realize what works for some, doesn't
work for another. This is very common to CH sufferers. Hang around though Ron, you will learn
much. The first thing you'll find, is at least a
relief in knowing that there are others who DO
understand the pain. Hard to believe, but...yes
we do! You'll find several here in this site that
are very knowledgable about different meds, some
with alternative treatments, many with ways to cope during attacks..etc...
