You'd think that your family would be the ones that understand. Not always the case. My family were the resident assholes. Sounds harsh but it's true. I divorced them at 15(then I only had migraines) I kept to myself thinking this pain was my world. Last month I found out I was very wrong. I had a sister who was very good at hiding her pain. She had migraines then too but I didn't know. I found she had clusters also but I didn't know because I was and probably still am a self absorbed resident asshole. As far as letting people know now for me, I'm not hiding anymore. If I'm under attack I'm going to clench my teeth and swear under my breath, pace like a madman, clutch my head and hit things all I want in front of people. If my family, friends( not that I have any and I wonder why) don't understand then I will direct them to www.clusterbutts.com where they can become resident assholes.
