I am sorry to have upset anyone. Nothing was further from my mind than causing any offence. I do not intend to preach; I would not be able to do so with either integrity or authority.
I used "headache" both literally, meaning that any headache causes a degree of suffering, and symbolically, meaning life's problems in general.
It is a help to me to think about other people, including many here, whom I perceive as worse off than I am. That is what I was inadequately trying to convey.
