I’ve been watching the board fairly closely for the last 3-4 months since I was diagnosed back in Dec. So far I haven’t seen any one post about local involvement for O.U.C.H. I don’t know about you guys but it would sure be nice to see a few people once every couple of months. Hell I’d even travel to Seattle or Eugene from here in Portland and since I would be riding the bus that would be like a 6-10 hour round trip. The local meetings wouldn’t have to be anything formal or anything. That would be real cool and probably not cost to start to set up. If we had local meetings then maybe we could find a neuro or GP to take on our cause on a local level. At least then we (I) would be able to see a doc. that has seen more than one cluster head. Anyway it’s just a thought if someone is already working on local chapters or something like that please let me know.
