Thanks for the warning. Not only did my doc not mention
this, but he never ordered a blood test to check the
lithium level. I found out about the issue and requested
a serum test. Came back fine (.65). So it seems
that it's true that a 900mg/day dose probably won't
cause toxic levels of lithium even with Verapamil.
I was convinced that I was having all the bad stuff
that comes with Li overdose (well not the coma/death
part:), but they have mostly passed. Still have bad
hand shakes.
!!!but no headaches in a full week!!! (I do still
have significant 'shadows'. Trying the water-thing
too (ironically, I already was doing this before
reading about it here since you're supposed to drink
tons of water when taking lithium.
