Hey NickD!

Even after the pain was taken away, you conclude that God had nothing to do with it. You are not giving Him a chance.

How do you know that you don't have the pain 24 hours a day 365 days a year and there is a God who rescues you from it for the vast majority of your life? Without you even asking!?

How do you know that the pain you have doesn't make it that much easier for someone else in the world? Would you wish it on someone else?

Instead of being bitter with God about a small amount of misery, I am thankful to Him for the brevity of my pain. I am thankful to Him for the incredible blessing of my existence! I pray that my pain is used to ease that of others.

I do not ask God to rid me of my pain. All of us here have the privilege of experiencing a little piece of hell every once in a while. Most of us wear it as a badge of courage. With a little piece of hell fresh in my mind, I am motivated to see God placed in empty hearts!

Although you are probably just venting your frustration, your questions could be the beginning of a new life for you. All you have to do to find God is look for Him.

Life after death? You get to choose the answer to this one yourself.
