Hi My name is Dave and i,m wanting to know more about the Action
Potential Stimulation Therapy machnie. I am writing on behalf of my Mother who suffers from Polymyositis.
She has been on prednisone for 2 years about 4 years ago with no success. She has been on different kinds
of painkillers and at the moment she is taking Doloxene. Some times more than she should take as the
prescribed dose doesn't seem to help. It only dulls the pain.
Just recently she had 3 sessions on the APS machine which took 80% of the pain away for 2.5 hours.
The 3rd session she took no painkillers at all and the result wasn't so good.

Has anybody out there with Polymyositis or any other muscular disorder tried the APS machine ?
She would like to know if over a longer period of time in using this machine, the pain relief would be
of a longer duration.
Any other information on Polymyositis would be appreciated too.

Yours sincerely

Dave Rath
