Yep, mine switch sides, too. I understand that's a pretty rare event. I also have the dubious good fortune of their switching back---dubious because the pain continues---good fortune because it signals the beginning of the end of the CH cycle. I'm a southpaw also and like you, I don't think it as anything to do with the headaches, with these possible exceptions; we live as underdogs in a right-handed world and I wonder what insidious psychical effect that has over time. Glancing at the language, there's being left out, left behind, eating leftovers and receiving a left-handed compliment. In other languages such as French, left is gauche which means awkward. In Italian, left is sinestre, meaning sinister. The only one that appeals to the survivor mentality in me is aristera, which in Greek, translates as aristocratic. Go know. I find that anger at the beast often helps since bullies usually back off when confronted.
