plus many others, was like I was in the academic phase of electronics, always arguments on electronic theory, and to win the argument, someone would bring in a book to prove his point and say, "here it is!" Then the argument would continue as to the interpretation of the text, when in reality, the only thing we needed to settle the debate were the tools to conduct an experiment to see the results for ourselves, I never had this privilage until I entered the industrial phase. In my narrow mindedness, I like to view religion in the same manner, no more books, but true real to life experiences, but maybe this isn't possible.
