I have been watching a lot of ER lately. What should I say to the family when the operation is complete. I was thinking of saying something like this - " Probably the largest most inflamed and sclerotic hypothalamus I have ever seen, in fact probably the ONLY one I have ever seen, but we got it all, and Dave is resting well, although complaining of a headache, but not too worry....."
