I haven't had a chance to read your book yet so I will apologize ahead of time if you have covered this topic.

If you have read most of the posts here on the message board, you have seen many cluster sufferers talk about the frustration they have experienced when trying to explain to their doctors exactly how much pain they are having.

In my thirty years of clusters, I have seen the look on the faces of the ER staff when I tell them the severity of my pain. I have seen that same look on the faces of physicians who I went to in search of some kind of help or relief from the agony.

Why is it so hard for health care providers to believe us? All we want to do is live a normal, pain free life and we end up feeling like we are on trial. What can we do to get doctors to understand us?

Thank you.
