I do believe that people with migraines are prone to depression.

The study may have been conducted in a more precise and thoughtful manner than the way it was written about - but I wonder.

If they didn't stratify the "other types of severe headache" and distinguish between those with brain tumors, clusters, tension, blah, blah, blah, then I would suggest they haven't done too much. You know what I mean.

I mean heck - we already knew that nuerotransmitters such as serotonin and the like are part of the deal with both migraines and clusters and that these nuerotransmitters are implicated in mood disorders. In fact, the primary phamological treatment for depression are the SSRIs which work on making serotonin more effective and long lasting.

I'll stop now and go away quietly.
