Unless your CH attacks are very mild, the first priority in my opinion is to get something which will deal with the pain of each attack while you try out other preventive drugs and Diflucan. Zompig tablets may help to treat a CH attack, but being tablets they are slow to work (if they work at all). Imitrex (similar to Zomig) is available in injection form and is very effective for many sufferers - it will often abort an attack within 5 or 10 minutes. Otherwise, breathing oxygen at a high flow rate from a cylinder also helps abort attacks for some people. I don't know of anything else that works fast for acute relief. Good luck with the GP, and try to get an urgent referral to a neurologist with good experience of this condition (preferably one who also suffers from it!)
