My Attack Period Is Longer

Hi All,
The last "screamer" I had was a week ago last Sunday. In all the worst of the cluster peak hasn't been too bad. I have been getting quite a few "low grade" attacks though. I've had as many as five a day.
It's always been my silly theory (figured out while in pain) that my body needs to experiance a certain amount of pain before whatever has gone wrong resets itself. I've had cluster periods that were shorter but excruciatingly painful, and longer but less painful periods.
I'll just be glad when they're over and I can get a full nights sleep again. Even if I skip my 1:00 AM wakeup call, I still get one the moment I get out of bed.
I've been real tempted just to use the Imitrex, but I don't want to use it unless I have to. That stuff just puts off the headache until later anyway. You wind up trading a 1:00 screamer for a 9:00 AM dull ache that lasts all day. Mind you, in some cases it's worth it, but I wouldn't take it everytime I felt a CH coming on.
I think the sooner you can just deal with the headaches, the sooner your body returns to normal. Well, I've blabbed enough for now, guess I'll try to get home before the 5:00 PM dull ache gets here.
See ya,
Carl
