About 5 or 6 months ago, someone here on the board mentioned that their doctor warned them that morphine and the others like it could cause an episodic cluster sufferer to become chronic. This has not been substantiated, so please do not panic. This post did not mention the amount of time the drug was used and it may be that the doctor was referring to longet term use of morphine rather than one short treatment. I agree with Riccardo and I believe that it has also been mentioned on the board that these particular type of drugs can affect the pattern of CH.
