I hve been suffering with migraine headaches for about two years now, and for 1-1/2 years I have been on Daypro twice a day, Zomig when needed and Elavil at night.
About three months ago, I noticed a rash on my chest, arms and calves and had severe itching. I went to my doctor, who prescribed the dose-pack cortisone pills for "contact dermatitis". After no relief (and after scratching sores on myself), I made an appointment with a dermatologist who put me on a medication (same as Benedryl - only double the dosage). Believe it or not, my headaches are now few and far between. I was taking Zomig at least once, sometimes twice a day, for at least 12 months. In the past 3 months, I have only taken 2 Zomig tablets. I feel so much better now than I have in a long time. Anybody else ever heard of an anti-histamine relieving the headache monster?
