Time for a new doctor. Find one that is familiar with your needs. Unfortunately for all of us, the drug trend in American culture has made most doctors underprescribe pain meds as seems to be your problem. I suggest going to his or her office with a full blown CH so he can witness the effect the pain is having on you, and the effect your banging head is having on his office. I am new to this site, but not to CH. Don't be scared, you know the acute pain will subside in between headaches. Try the ice pack right on the eye socket and temple with moderate pressure. Hand in there, and demand better service from your physician.
