I think that the condition CH is the base. Depression is the effect that comes from too many days and night in pain. Sleep deprivation, the array of drugs we have to take, etc. All of that has to play a part in this state we call depression.
Chronic pain is a war. Every single freaking (held myself back, where's my medal?) day of fighting the pain, using our energy to survive. I'd be wondering about us if we didn't have depression.
Now epilepsy, you lost me on that one.
