That was excruciatingly eloquent and succinct. There's no odds in getting into a pissing contest about pain. What's useful is compassion and not oneupmanship. Of the non-physical types of pain, one of the most difficult to endure is intolerance. It's paradoxical that any pain can be a mellowing factor if we let it.
