Thanks for your note. I am not the sufferer in my family, my husband is. He's the one that has had big success with the water treatment so we ARE very open minded.
Mike is currently not in cycle, he goes in usually around Christmas every year, so we're ok for a bit yet.
I think what we have learned though, from our experiences here at ch.com is that episodic and chronic sufferers are very different. Same pain, granted, but the "oddball" controls (if you will) have a higher success rate on the episodic folks. Could that be though that the chronic people are more apt to be on perpetual meds? Mike was totally med free when the water treatment worked for him and I can't help but wonder if that needs to be the situation in order for the water to work.
Tell us about yourself, Chris - episodic/chronic? med-free? Riccky's right, it may be the caffeine in the pepsi that is aborting your attacks....has it ENDED your cycle or are you still needing to use it to stop the attacks?
And don't think that people won't be open minded here - you'd be surprised at some of the things some people have tried in efforts to end the torture. No, you probably wouldn't.
A year or so ago, there was the Grape Juice/Gingerale rememdy that helped some folks. Then, those hot peppers up the nose ( I see Nick is putting stuff up his nose now too ).
Like I said before - who cares WHAT works, let's just keep working together to find something...anything.
Cheers
Margi
