Lovely heartfelt post! Your pain as well comes through.
My wife and I disagree on everything...argue about everything...except when I go into pain ... she understands my pain and leaves me alone or gets me whatever I need. As I rushed into the living room this AM,grabbed the O2 mask and started suck-moaning during her early morning "quiet-reading-prayer" time...she simply,quietly said "It must be awful to wakeup like that." That meant the world to me.
