Hi Drummer, hope you are well. One reason that I do not give my e-mail address is that I do not check my post box very often due to me being so busy (I know I’m not the only busy person on this Earth!). Therefore, if someone takes the time and effort to write me an e-mail I may not read it for a while. Subsequently, I feel that I may offend somebody due to a lack of response on my part. I will start putting my e-mail address on my posts when my workload drops and I can take the time to check and answer e-mails on a more regular basis.

At the moment I tend to spend my rare web time reading the message board. I guess that my post yesterday was due to my own frustration at the relative lack of factual information or advice about CH’s on the message board at the moment. Every now and then someone writes a post that raises my hopes or interest. The post may be about a drug, vitamin, mineral, herb, food, surgical technique or alternative medicine that may help my suffering. I know that 99% of the posts will most likely not help me in the long term, but they do tend to raise my hopes for a while. This temporary raising of my hopes is better than having no hope at all. On reflection I was being very selfish, though I do still stand my comments. It’s just that I am hungry for information, so when I log on to the site I want to read about people’s experiences of dealing with CH’s and how their experiences could help me. Again, I am being selfish, but so what-we ALL have a right to be from time to time.

I am also being a hypocrite. I am guilty of not offering advice when I possibly could. Therefore, I intend to offer more advice in the future. I will start with an interesting point about Verapamil consumption and will be posting imminently. Don’t leave town!!!!

Best Wishes

G.
