DocGreg,

I recently was put on O2 as an abortive treatment for my cluster headaches. Sumatriptan works great, however, I'm in vet school and cannot afford insurance. Therefore, my hometown doctor started me on Lithium 900 mgs/day (t.i.d.) as well as Depakote (1250 mgs/day.)

I was wondering if O2 causes a generalized vasoconstriction after a certain plasma level is reached. It appears to me that this must me the fashion that oxygen works. I regret that I did not talk to my doctor when I was home last. With all of the other medications to discuss, O2 was the last thing on my mind.

I haven't had to use the O2 for a headache (thank God.) I really think that one of the other drugs is working. If you could give me some insight on O2 tissue saturation and dymanics, I'd appreciate it very much (I really hate to read Burne and Levy.)

Thanks,

Troy
