I'm so sorry that a little child (my daughter is 4!) could suffer from this terrible thing.
But, before all, I will try with a MRI scan (not a CAT scan, is a bit dangerous for a child)
...But it seems me a little impossible that a 3 yo child could be exactly diagnosed from CH at the first time.
Try the neuro, he surely suggest you a MRI.
Meanwhile, the Todd and Margi suggestions are absolutely OK, try it.
