My first attack, twenty-one years ago, came on full-blown as though someone had whacked me with club. I was chronic for five years with the classic beet-red eyeball, copious snot and tears, level 8-10 every evening. Now, after so many drugs from an equal number of doctors, and perhaps just getting old, my attacks are seasonal, not as intense and I can manage fairly well with just oxygen. Still, like you, I get the odd attack that comes and goes with no warning. 'Tis an insidious beast, this clusterfucker, and I'm afraid it does not know the rules of cricket.
