Two years ago my neuro put me on Tegretol (carbamazepine) at 300 mg/day. It didn't even dent the CH, but it appeared to me that this must be the stuff to make zombies, so I discontinued it after 3 weeks. Later the neuro admitted that it can have these side effects for elderly gentlemen. But if it helps you, stick with it !
