I read this and got to thinking. I have read that prolonged lack of sleep will stop attacks. This was reported in Dr. Goadsbys book Cluster Headaches and Related Conditions. It may have to do with reseting the internal clock. I noticed this spring when I had a trip to the left coast, that my attacks stopped. My schedule was so hectic when I was out there that I was up for three days strait. My cycles usually last for two to four months. This cycle was only one month. I haven't had an attack since I went out there. The rec. drugs may be doing something similar.

Glad you posted.
