...here in Italy (and England also) we have a public medical assistance: this means that, if you become ill and need a specialist, you have to wait 2 or 3 months for the visit. On the other hand, you can go to the SAME SPECIALIST (yes same NAME!) and obtain a private appointment for the next day. This happens also with Hospital, surgery, and anything involved with the illnesses.
This is the mean that a 5% of italians (me too) have your same insurance! We pay double (taxes and ins. Company) but we try to survive.
But when I hear these things from you (America!, America! and Star spangled Banner, and freedom and....) I feel me really bad. It seems me impossible that things as these happen in your Country
