If you think a CH is bad, a CH with rebound is a lot worse

Pain medications can only be taken for a short time, about ten days before rebound sets it, the medications can actually increase the frequency, intensity, and duration of the CH, so what do you do? Take more medication that further enhances the rebound, took a sharp neuro to point this out to me, I think back when I first had clusters, but got into this rebound bit several times since, I am just too stupid to learn, the last cycle going on about three months, took a total of six 25 mg amitriptylines, and about the same number of 5 mg prednisone, mostly because my work schedule demanded that I take that much to mostly help with sleep, used O2, ice, the rest of the time, been breaking the CH's quickly, in about ten fifteen minutes, the most I had in one day was six, I contribute this to med control, by popping pills like crazy, the CH's would last for hours, just don't forget about rebound, discuss this with your doctor.
