I didn't touch a ciggarette for 10 years and gave up alcohol for 5 of those (teetotal nonsmoking vegetarian) and it made no obvious difference to my cycles. Of course alcohol during the cycle is strictly "verbooten". For the last few years I've not been smoking and it makes no apparent difference to the beasts visitation "rights". Not that I'm in anyway advocating smoking. Nicoteen is a wicked and tenaceous goddess!
