You (you and your hubby) are still in the situation in which you think to find a doctor or a medicine that kill completely the CH. Any doctor that do not reach this objective is a doctor to kick.
Is not so easy! Many doctors are to be kicked (see "Death by the Beast" post of Larry) but DO NOT expect to find a permanent, radical solution to your hubby's CH.
You surely will find good meds, good treatments that will work, that will SLOW the pain.
But the today situation DOES NOT permit to kill the Beast, only to hurt it.
You have to change your mind, thinking you have to DEAL with the Beast.
Believe me, this is not a post without heart, I put here all my compassion, I know that's hard to understand, but you all will have to deal more and more time with CH (till they will find a radical cure or your hubby will go in remission, that could be also permanent)
Meantime, CONTINUE TO FIGHT!
