I do not know where you live, but yrs back I went to a Headache Ctr in Ct. Before going there was alot of paperwork to do, full medical hx, 3.meds, tx, former md's, their #'s and addresses, mri films etc. The headache ctr was a whole day process, every aspect of my life was looked at including mental health. Thermal photos were also taken of my head. The clinic operates a branch of their clinic at a local hospital for patients to go inpatient for round the clock observation and iv medications, inpatient also includes counseling and support groups...I left with medications and found that the MD's took a very aggressive approach in changing meds until something helped. I was newly married, I had had brain tumor surgery, my life was crumbling before me due to head pain, and I found myself storing discarded drugs for the day when I decided I could no longer live life like this. I was months on the sofa. The headache clinic saved my life. DO NOT BE A PATIENT, BE A CONSUMER OF SERVICES. IF ONE GARAGE CAN NOT FIX YOUR ENGINE, YOU GO TO ANOTHER ONE, DO NOT GIVE YOURSELF ANY LESS. My medical ins covered the cost of the clinic, it was $700.00 for the full day of evalutation. Wishing you well.Anne
