"i" is the code for italics
"b" for bold...
use the less than and greater than signs in front of and after the command ... like this < i > then < / i > after the word you want to emphasize, using the forward slash to turn off the command...(with no spaces). so to type the word "italics" as such, you would type
< i > italics < / i > and get italics...
Or not. You can use the asterisks too - I'm just jerking your chain, really ;-)
