Hi, I have been on epilem since 1996 and there are side effects to the drug but they affect people in different ways. I personally have put on a little weight but no other side affects have happened to me as yet. A mate of mine was on this drug but she took her self off of it because she read a leaflet which said it can damage your kidneys but I my self never saw the leaflet so I dont know if that side affect is true, although there are alot of things the doctor dont tell you about all the drugs that are available to you so your best bet is to ask the doctor direct or hunt hard for leaflets to tell you.
