Where do these doctors get their information? My internist is the one who put me on Oxygen for clusters and has tried the list of preventative meds as well. REading this site has given me an even deeper appreciation for this doctor who is not even a specialist. He was the one who insisted I try the oxygen saying I shouldnot try to live with the pain and insisted I call him if it did not work. Now if this man with a busy practice can keep up with the latest, why not other doctors? Also, my insurance paid for part of the oxygen and the medical supply company rep told me that he had delivered it to other cluster sufferers. And I live in an area that is 250 miles away from any urban center! Maybe we have to carry around the latest information on cluster ha treatment to show new doctors who are hesitant to treat us with what we know works. Sort of silly, isn't it?
