back in the dark ages...i.e. before CH was well known...when someone would ask me about "my headaches"...I use to lie and tell them I had migraines...the reason is that back then (high school...early 80's) I was told by several doctors that I did NOT have migraines...that I didnt fit the profile....
Anyways...I use to lie just because I wanted people to understand how painful this was...and I thought the word "migraine" was met with a respect for the pain, even though I did not have them.
Now its really kinda ironic...that all those years I wanted to give people a sense of how painful this thing is...I had actually been a member of a most rare exclusive club...there is no reason to lie about this pain anymore...this web page has alot to do with that, Dr. Goadsby and the other researchers do too.
