Congratulations on flushing the percs. I am a recovering alcoholic and drug addict and spent many years using pain killers which did very little good. I finally found imitrex which, for me stops the headache every time within about 5-10 minutes. Imitrex is safe for alcoholics and addicts as it is not addictive. I understand that some people have side effects which makes it hard for them to take this drug. It can also be expensive. If you have not tried this yet it might be worth a shot and you can use it without being concerned about becoming addicted.
