For all I know, there is such a device. If there isn't, there should be. It's a pain-o-meter which not only gives a graphic read-out of intensity, but can also pass the sensation of pain to a scoffing, impatient, non-believing, disgusted non-sufferer. You place one lead of a sensor on the pain site and then physically touch, or place another sensor, on the same location of someone else's body. They instantly experience your agony. What a useful device it would also be to convince doctors that something more potent than two aspirins is required. I offer the pain-o-meter not out of sadistic intent, but rather as an educational tool whose use needn't be limited to CH-ers.
