This type of reporting basically works like an episode of 'Scooby Doo'. The only type of show that would be interested is 'Daytime TV Chat' format stuff - and nobody with half a brain watches that. Those shows follow the same format as 'Martyrs Monthly' the magazines where people describe how their teacher murdered their family. No the 'Scooby Doo' investigative shows pull a much higher and dare I say 'activist' (why isn't something being done about this) audience. They are not interested in our plight for the following reasons:
1) There is no culprit (such as sinister organisation) to be exposed.
2) There is no miracle cure on the horizon.
3) They have no evidence that it was caused by 'Kool Aid' our mothers drank during pregnancy.
4) We haven't all fought in the Gulf War.
5) None of us have independantly stumbled on an effective but controversial treatment... oh wait a minute!!! HA HA!
Yep, these types of show started to get really interested in MS once it was proven that cannabis was an effective treatment. When that happened they started to show pictures of people with scrambled faces and actors voices skinning up to get relief.
Now in my experience, and that of several other people (who interestingly don't seem to feel the need to attend this site anymore) is that we too have a controversial magic bullet. Not only that we have some fairly good circumstancial evidence to backup it up. I think we need to slide the err 'Shroom' therapy under their noses.
I am of course aware that most of you (who have no experience of this treatment) don't believe in it, but it would at least bring the whole CH thing to public attention. Who knows, maybe a TV special report would also shed some new light on the 'Shroom' thing.
So that's what I propose. I don't intend to do anything about it though, unless I get support from at least some of you guys.
PS Nice to see you again DJ. Your site has helped thousands of people. I guess you already know that, but thank you anyway for helping me.
