We need N and O2 to survive without N, our blood would boil and we would get the bends.

O2 is great, but O3 is a killer.

N is great with a mixture of O2, but NO is a killer and N2O would take away out pains and make us laugh. NO mixed with H2O can form Nitric acid that we need in our stomachs to properly digest our food, but if in the lungs can kill us, have to make sure our organ gaskets are in good shape so we don't have internal leaks.

We breathe out CO2 fortunately we are in better tune than engines that also breath out CO2, amazes me that we make machines that compete with our bodily needs, but machines also kick out CO which for us is a killer, I wonder if we are out of tune, if we can kick out CO as well and kill ourselves by breathing.

Compared to nature, our bodies are very fragile, we can't survive with the temperature extremes nor doing without O2 for just a few minutes. Foreign gases, even with parts per trillion can really screw up our bodies, at times I think our industrial revulution accellerated way to quick for our bodies evolution, but I am sure in a couple of eons, we will adapt, in the meantime, enjoy your CH's.
