My husband was on lithium and a few of his regular medications, after a week or so I noticed that he was becoming very forgetfull and would start talking then forget what he was talking about, this was not like him at all, he usually has a memory that never fails, anyway he went back to the doctor and they ran blood tests and found out his lithum level was way to high, they said he was lucky to still be alive, needless to say that took him off that imediatly, and in a couple of days started to feel like himself again. In my opinion I would avoid lithum, unless you are being monitored and have blood tests taken to check your levels.
