When I became severely depressed in 1994, I was put on many new anti-depressants, none of which worked for me. Then I was put on phenelzine (also known as Nardil). Within a few weeks, my depression started to lift. Phenelzine is the only anti-depressant that has worked for me. It keeps me stable. The only problem is that I have gained 60 pounds. Is this a common problem?
