Hey Folks,
I have suffered migraines/clusters for many years.
I have remained determined to deal with my episodes using natural methods. Guess what, recently I discovered some stuff that a gentleman at the local herbal shop recommended and I was surprised to gain tremendous relief. Its a small bottle with a dropper containing an extract of feverfew flowers among other herbs. The brand is "Crystal Star" and it is their "Migraine Extract" (Their address is: Crystal Star Herbal Nutrition, St. Louis, MO, 63045).
What is does is cut the edge off of the headache so you can relax, sit up, and generally feel better. When taken at the onset, it doesn't totally kill the headache, but rather cuts it down to a manageable size and that is a big deal for me. The headaches are shorter and less painful. Apparently feverfew is best used preventatively. In other words it is most effective when taken regulary to ward off headaches. I don't take the feverfew preventatively, but even my method of taking a dose every fifteen minutes once a headache hits does amazing things to cut the pain once the herb gets into your system.
I'm very pleased, - thought you might like to hear about it. Peace, joe
