I realize you wrote this last year but, I just had, yesterday, a repeat of something I thought I was over 5 years ago. My attacks, if you will, are no longer that about 90 seconds. Sharp ice pick stabbing for the entire time in my temple and eyeball. 20-90 seconds but, during that time I can't keep still or quiet. Like nothing I have ever experienced before. Does anyone else experience this? I just thank God that I don't experience anything to the extent I have read about. 30 minutes to 3 hours sounds like I wouldn't be able to take this.
Occasionally the pain is just a single pick or stab but, it is so distubing and painful that I am essentially incapacitated until my body recovers? usually about 15 minutes but, yesterday it took about 3 hours before I could relax. I just kept waiting for the pain to start again. Fortunately it never did, just a few stabs.
