The effective dose of LSD for the treatment of CH is between 12 and 25 micrograms once every 6-12 months. Yes that is micrograms NOT milligrams and is months NOT hours.
Assuming the lethal dose in humans is as low as 0.1mg/kg, you are looking at an effective dose that is < 1/260 th of the toxic dose. Nobody knows that actual toxic dose but it may be as much as 100x higher.
How can anyone question the safety of this treatment?
