Shadows or ?

Actually, I don't think I have ever had a true shadow as you all describe them.
A headache starts mild and within 10 minutes is full-blown with no real warning except the knowledge that one is due during a cycle. After the 30-45 minute attack, I feel perfectly great in the head - unless I have been several days with little sleep and you know how that feels. Mostly though I can leap and play as soon as the ache ceases. It is such a blessed relief I just pick up where I left off and go.
Once in a while, though, I get what I call a mini attack - but really because it happens in the same place as CH. I feel a low level of pain in
my neck and temple and just above my eye. But it generally does not last more than 2 or 3 minutes.
I am not on any medication but am just out of cycle since last November.
This shadow business is interesting. Could shadows be an attack trying to come through, but the demon is blocked by medicine or something?
