Welcome Marc, to this safe harbor and friendly place for cluster sufferers. I got my doctor to write a prescription for the 02. I did have to fight a bit with my insurance company. But finally this is how it worked; I took the prescription to the medical supply company (my insurance company gave me a list of med. supply companies that participated with Pers. Choice) and the supply company had to call the insurance company to have it pre-certified (okay'd). Once that was done, they actually brought the tanks to my home and showed me how to use them. They have a toll free number I call when the tank needs to be refilled, and they pick it up. Pretty good, eh? I must tell you though Marc, I *did* have to fight with the insurance company. Several frustrating calls before I got to this point, but it's going to be worth it, I'm sure. I pay good money for this mediocre health insurance. I've got to make it work for me. I would encourage you to do the same. Happy New Year, and all my prayers are with you for a very long cluster free time ahead.
