I, too, have gotten relief recently from Prednisone even though I had tried it 10 years ago and found it lacking. The difference is that 10 years ago it was prescribed to be used when an attack came on to try and beat it back. This time, my physician decided to use it prophylactically with mega doses for 15 days to break the cycle. So far, it's working. We'll see. As everyone knows, it's frustrating. I took my case to four specialists last week and each one prescribed something different.
