try O2 -
seems to be near universal agreement that O2 at 8 liters/minute or more, at the onset of an attack, will knock it back in short order, some MDs may balk at prescribing it, but most folks seem to be able to get at it one way or the other

do a search on this message board, using the search feature on the home page, for "oxygen"
you'll find MANY reports on relief of attacks

I agree with Charlie - "biofeedback" and "stress reduction techniques" can help immensely in reducing the overall negative effects on our lives - nothing new or secret in that - plain old positive thinking and one-day-at-a-time discipline (actually ancient teachings, even though a lot of people are putting them in fancy wrappings to make a buck, nowadays), sometimes takes a lot of effort and discipline,
faith drives out fear - but real faith comes from surviving the tough times, and it's worth the effort
