I'm sorry Dave, I know your gonna kill me for this, but.... Yes Jonny, Dave has gone without Meds. I personally have witnessed it. Dave is the type of person who is a fighter, as many on this board are. He is chronic, not for months at a time, but for years, with NO break. So far nothing has broken Dave's chronic cycle, and its been over 15 years. That would be enough to bring anyone down. But Dave manages to get up every morning (if he's not already up from getting hit all night) and get ready for work. He gets hit while at work and deals with that. He manages to be a full time father to two young children. He manages to function on a daily basis. It takes alot of courage and strength to do that. I don't read his post's as attacking, he is genuinly trying to help and advise Carl. There are more ways to help someone besides handing them a buck and I for one applaude Dave for standing up and trying to give Carl a direction he may want to take to feel better about himself. Since obviously the poor guy will have to deal with the pain of clusters everyday. I realize Dave can answer your post himself and as I said will probably kill me for posting this in his defense but what can I say, I love the guy and am sitting here at work reading this and it got my panties in a bunch!
